CREATIVE PATHWAYS APPRENTICESHIP
Too many talented young people grow up believing that professional theater, film, and the arts belong to someone else. The Creative Pathways Apprenticeship Program opens doors for young people from historically underserved communities to experience professional theater, media, and the performing arts—not as spectators, but as creators, collaborators, and emerging professionals. For many participants, these opportunities represent first-time exposure to cultural and creative industries that can fundamentally reshape how they see what's possible for themselves and their future.

Neighborhoods Rise is working with a coalition of community organizations, educators, creative professionals, and employers to develop this initiative. Together, we are expanding opportunity for the next generation.

This initiative builds on early successes including placing students into professional media production training and live stage performances while exploring new partnerships that broaden access while preserving the local culture and maintaining industry standards.

We create theater that entertains, challenges and opens doors by telling real stories, while building pathways for artists, audiences and emerging creative workers.
This means we select and produce meaningful, dramatic, and compelling, professional works that are born from our communities and performed by members of our communities.
Our success is measured at the box office, by accolades, and by the consistent placement of apprentices in jobs within the industry both locally and regionally.
