About

The People’s Studio, in association with Neighborhoods Rise, is located in Los Angeles, California. Our photography studio is hosted by our partner non-profit, AMP Studios. We are also set up as a travelling studio to respond to events and incidents that impact people in the most marginalized communities. Our goal is to utilize the power of the photographic image to document the dynamic and charitable work of advocates, organizers, elected leaders and everyday people in our challenged communities. Our pictures tell the stories of those on the front lines in the fight for social justice. The People’s Studio highlights community leaders and raises awareness for the pressing issues of our time.

We are partnered with Community Based Organizations, Labor Unions and Advocacy Partners who provide help to our neighbors locally and globally.
